Update on beautiful Delphine, the blind Springer Spaniel who was found tied to a pallet of bricks in Maidstone, Kent – An appeal for donations to pay for the surgery she needs to restore her sight
A blind dog found abandoned and tied to a pallet of bricks is to regain her sight.
Delphine, a springer spaniel, was found alone in Maidstone in May. She was rescued and taken to RSPCA Leybourne animal centre in Kent.
Vets discovered that she was suffering from a number of health issues, including cataracts in both eyes that have left her almost totally blind, as well as ear infections.
Specialist eye vets at the Animal Health Trust (AHT) have confirmed that they will be able to restore sight to one of her eyes.
The RSPCA has set up a fund to raise money for the operation.
