A CARMARTHENSHIRE rescue centre says a blind dog in its care needs a guide dog to help him through life.

Archibald is a beautiful but totally blind labradoodle pup in the care of Many Tears Animal Rescue in Maesybont.

He was given that name because it means daring and precious, said a spokeswoman for Many Tears.

“Archibald is looking for a canine companion to be his eyes,” she said.

“Many Tears Rescue takes in many blind dogs from breeding kennels and manages with the help of specialist vets give hundreds of dogs the gift of site at the cost of £2000 per dog.

“This past year over 30 dogs that lived in a dark world can now see.”

Sadly it appears this special boy Archibald is not a candidate for this surgery, but never the less Many Tears Rescue are taking him to the specialist hoping for a miracle.

“we are hoping to find the perfect home with a seeing dog and huge amounts of comfort and love to offer this brave kind pup.”

If you can offer Archibald a fitting home, fill in the form at www.manytearsrescue.org.
